"I have lost $6000 and I was to receive $11,000 over that amount due to the "interest" that we were supposed to be paid," one alleged victim aged 21 said to us.


"The scam took place originally by a dude named Rack posting hundreds of thousands dollars bets in order to show off how much money he apparently had."


After losing $6,000, another 17-year-old victim made a cybercrime report through the Australian Cyber Security Centre.


"He [Rack] explained it as lending money and then paying back the loan with Buy 2K22 MT interest," the teenager said.
